A caterpillar begins life eating the egg its hatch from. Self-expression is our “egg-pression” to eat from it. I realized the more I ate from the intentions that naturally expressed me, the more enthusiasm flowed into my life.
Here’s the kicker, enthusiasm rarely came from the outcomes of what I was doing, but more in “how I felt” about what I was doing.
You see, “enthusiasm” comes from the Greek word “entheos” which means the God within. Tapping into my enthusiasm, was tapping into my God-power.
Ironically, enthusiasm is not the excitement to do, it’s the energy to do.
Regardless of how you feel (good or low), for some crazy reason…the energy (Godpower) flows to self-express in a certain area.
My energy always flowed best through the creative expression of the arts, and now has developed into motivational storytelling (writing and speaking).
The more I “ate the egg” of self-expression, the more enthusiasm flowed. But when I ate from self-expectations, frustrations flowed.
